PropertyBridge Renews Compliance and Security Certifications for its Payments Platform

Certifications Confirm Company’s Commitment to Providing the Highest Level of Data Security for its Electronic Payment Processing Solutions

Oakland, CA – July 13, 2011 –- PropertyBridge, Inc., a MoneyGram company and a leading provider of electronic payment services to the multifamily housing industry, today announced that it has successfully completed its annual Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 audit and renewed its Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) Certification.

The SAS 70 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The SAS 70 Type II audit is a rigorous process evaluating the following areas:
  • Control Operations
  • Application Change Control
  • Client Setup & Maintenance
  • Information Security
  • Payment Processing & Gateways
  • Data Communication

PropertyBridge has also continued to keep its Level 1 certification current for the PCI Data Security Standard, which regulates the security and business processes of service providers that store, process or transmit consumer credit card data. Beyond the SAS 70 Type II and PCI Data Security certification, PropertyBridge also voluntarily undergoes an annual Automated Clearing House (ACH) audit to validate its internal processes and controls.

The certifications are a testament to the high security standards maintained by PropertyBridge.  The certifications confirm that all aspects of PropertyBridge's information technology, processing and operational procedures are secure and compliant, and satisfiy requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
