Buyer Beware: Evaluate the True Cost of “Inexpensive” Scanning Solutions
Some of our property management clients went through their bank for check scanning because it seemed relatively inexpensive. However, when they added up all of the “hidden” bank fees and costs that weren’t in the transaction cost, and the time spent on reconciliation, they realized that they were paying as much as three to four times the transaction fee in account fees, reporting fees and settlement fees.
