Application Programming Interface

In addition to standard integrations available through our integration partners, clients can choose to integrate through the PropertyBridge Application Programming Interface (API). The API is a Web Service, and is designed to allow users the flexibility to communicate with the PropertyBridge Payment Engine securely over the Internet, using standard Web Service protocols.

When integrating though the API, clients receive a detailed technical manual illustrating typical web service calls and available API methods. The manual also provides details and examples which demonstrate how to utilize PropertyBridge’s Web Services to upload data (if applicable), process payments through the API and pull down payment receipts (if applicable).

Technical Support
PropertyBridge’s implementation team and support staff are available to assist in the completion of testing and deployment. The client will then develop the front end web application and subsequent backend code to connect to the PropertyBridge API and call all required methods. PropertyBridge provides multiple test environments which can be used for development, testing and debugging. All required information will be provided during implementation.

To ensure security and privacy, all access to the PropertyBridge production system must be conducted over SSL. In addition to SSL security, authentication is required against the PropertyBridge session management system using a PropertyBridge assigned user name and password. All required login information will be provided during the testing phase. Once testing is complete, all production information will be provided to complete all required tasks within the API.
